NorQuest College operates as an accredited high school and offers courses that follow the Alberta Education curriculum. As a post-secondary institution, we also offer high school equivalency courses that are accepted by Canadian post-secondary institutions and Alberta universities and colleges under the Alberta Council for Admissions and Transfer agreement.
These courses prepare you to continue on to study at NorQuest or other post-secondary institutions and increase your job opportunities. You will receive a skills and prior learning assessment and an individual learning plan to help you reach your specific goals.

NorQuest College has partnered with community adult learning programs (CALPs) to offer high school and college preparatory programming in communities around Alberta. Foundations for Learning includes a range of 12-week online courses to rural learners at a reduced tuition rate. Students work at their own pace through online, anytime courses. Approximately 45 hours of instructor-led activities will be provided to you. In addition, 30 hours of in-person tutorial support will be available to you in your community at the local CALP.
